His world is the world of recording without commenting. Starting his career as a photojournalist in the early eighties, he worked for several Dutch newspapers. At the moment he is in the midst of making several independent documentaries. Most of his projects result in books and exhibitions.<\/p>\n<p>In recent years Van Hees had several major exhibitions: Document Nederland in the Rijksmuseum Amsterdam and an installation \u2018Cor Eversteijn\u00a0(1949-1983), bokser &amp; herenkapper\u2019 in Boijmans van Beuningen.\u00a0His works can be found in private and public collections, amongst others, Nederlands Fotomuseum, Rotterdam, the Netherlands.<\/p>\n<p>Van Hees studied at the St. Joost Academy for the Visual Arts, Breda, the Netherlands.
